about

From Jacob Culver:

"This song came from a place of denial, of lovesickness, of stagnation. A broken heart can paralyze you…and maybe for a bit, there’s no issue with letting yourself be in pain. At some point though you have to retie the string between who you are and who you want to be, you have to let go. We’ve held onto that pain a little too long, and putting this song out is an act of moving on, an act of taking care of ourselves. Hope you make it your own!

lyrics

(Rerun)
Keep on
Watching all the movies that they rerun
Every waking hour that I feed on
TV dinner theater I just waste time
Do it again the next night

Shirt off
Naked in my kitchen taking work off
Two days in a row stuck with that fake cough
Losing motivation since you stepped out

Everyone is so in love
X Rerun
It's why we're all doing nothing
X Rerun

Now I'm pissed off,
Blaming wishful thinking for the time lost
Wish that I could sleep without the screen on
Losing motivation to my self-doubt
No one to blame but my damn self

I don't sleep I don't go out
Feeling weak I should work out
Swept off my feet since you stepped out

Everyone is so in love (rerun)
It's why we're all doing nothing (rerun)
But we don't see the issue

Thin ice
Well of my eyes
Another year frozen blue
Half-life breaking in time
Drown in what I had with you

Everyone is so in love (rerun)
It's why we're all doing nothing (rerun)
But we don't see the issue
